Play Therapy, EMDR,

& Parenting Support

Relationship-based therapy for young children and families, integrating play therapy and EMDR within an attachment-focused approach. Our work focuses on strengthening the parent-child relationship as a pathway for healing from trauma and supporting families through times of change such as divorce, separation, or disruptions in a child’s sense of safety.

Empowering Families Through Connection

Young children experience the world through relationships. Because of this, our approach to therapy focuses not only on the child, but also on strengthening the parent-child connection.

Our practice specializes in Play Therapy, EMDR, and parenting support to help your child feel safe, regulated, and understood—and to help your family feel more connected. We believe that before children can use “skills,” they first need to feel safe, seen, and supported, which is why we focus on the nervous system and the parent-child relationship, not just tips and techniques. We treat the whole family, which means parents receive support too.

We look beyond labels to understand what’s happening in your child’s world and within your family system. Our clinicians support families navigating divorce, LGBTQ+ family dynamics, attachment disruptions, trauma, and major life transitions—because behavior is often a signal, not the whole story.

Play Therapy

For children, toys are their words and play is their language. Play Therapy uses the therapeutic powers of play to help children prevent or resolve psychosocial difficulties and achieve optimal growth and development.

EMDR for Children

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported therapy and one of the leading trauma treatments recommended by the World Health Organization. When used with children, EMDR is woven into play and creative activities, helping them process difficult experiences in a natural, engaging, and child-friendly way.
